Hairstyles We Love…Require Lots of Hair!

How many times have we heard that our hair needs volume? “Get Major Volume” read ads for volumizing shampoo, hair sprays, treatments, dry shampoos and conditioners. Polimers and proteins bulk up the strands when heat is applied in blow drying or blowouts. As we age, however, hair thins and then these tricks don’t work anymore. Laser hair therapy using a laser hair brush can optimize each follicle’s output of hair. The cool wave lasers target the base of the follicle to increase blood circulation, promoting growth of stronger, thicker shinier hair.

Once we have our perfect amount of hair, we have such a choice of styles! Back in the 50’s hair was mostly soft and touchable. Moms had soft bobs or curls and kids too. The 60’s on the other hand became all about volume. Teased hair, soup can rollers and lots of hairspray were the norm. After all that stiffness, hairstyles went into a phase of tousled locks with waves that looked like we just walked out of the ocean and the sun dried each strand. Lack of structure propagated the thick and wavy look which blended set waves with a bit of windblown effect.

By the time we got to the 90s we wanted out bob back…but this time it was cut on angles with deep parts and not too much poof. Think geometric. Then hairstyles started to change more rapidly. We went to layered looks both straight then curled. Those curls became more polished and looser…sometimes looking like the strands came right off the rollers. Glamour finally overtook the crazy curls and softened them, giving our hair a smoother finish. Now volume is back in waves, but in an undone look…or slicked back into a glamourous ponytail. Hair now doesn’t come in “one style fits all” but is adapted to our location, venue and the time of day.

All of the above however, is achieved only by having that full set of locks. Many of us now have to find a thinning hair treatment and a natural hair loss treatment at that! Back to the laser hair brush for hair loss or thinning. I have found that the Nutreve Personal Hair Therapy Laser is the most complete and easy to use laser hair brush on the market today. Its curved head holds 35 pulsing, quality lasers that are poised to target the base of the follicles. It has rechargeable batteries so that it has only the original price tag of less than $600 as far as operating costs.

The ergonomic handle allows for ease in maneuvering the brush to all needed areas, OR you can use the optional hands-free stand so that you can multitask while using the device. Required use is for only 15-20 minutes every other day, and this laser hair restoration device is light and portable so that it can be taken along on vacations or business trips. The Nutreve Personal Hair Therapy Laser can be used along with any prescription medications, and works well with hair restoration medications, creams or treatments. It works for hair of any ethnicity, color or texture and increases follicle output and duration overall. Nutreve is very up front to say that a dead follicle will not produce hair again. Miracles are not an option.

However, they offer the best alternative to pills, surgeries, wigs or any other hair loss or thinning hair treatment out there. Then, style as usual!
