Laser Hair Restoration Products…Which is Best?

There are so many forms of laser hair restoration devices out on the market today that it takes weeks of research to find out the differences and benefits to each. I previously researched and reviewed the laser hair comb and laser hair brush category and came out with a clear winner there (the Nutreve Personal Hair Therapy Laser). Now I want to compare that product with other devices.

The first category of laser hair therapy device is the “dome” or salon style “hood”. The first devices were strictly used in commercial salons or in “Hair Restoration Facilities”. These devices were large, heavy and expensive. They were stationary units usually attached to a chair to sit in while receiving your treatment. At that time, laser hair restoration was new and folks went to their salons or hair restoration offices several times a week for their 20 minute sessions. These stations still exist, but folks now have the option of having the same amount of treatment efficacy from a device that they can purchase and use at home. Home devices save money (less expensive, less travel time, less gas money) are more convenient (can be used any time night or day, are portable for any room in the home) and are more efficient (compliance is improved). Light, portable hand-held units are definitely the way to go.

The next category is a series of lasers on a flexible sheet that covers your head and can be hidden under a baseball type cap. Several companies produce and sell this type of product. The best of these as far as number of lasers and ease of use is the Lasercap. The price tag on this item may stop you in your tracks though. It retails for around $3,000. This thinning hair treatment is also found in a helmet-style gadget which is not attractive to wear outside of the home and is priced at $659 for the SuperGrow and $695 for the iGrow. Neither of these compares to the efficacy of the Lasercap product.

OK…so the hood is out, and that leaves the hand held device and the cap. As far as cost, the difference is $600 vs. $3,000. If you want the hand held unit to be hands free, you can purchase only the Nutreve Personal Hair Therapy Laser with a hands free stand for a total of $700. The only thing I noticed with the Lasercap is that if the lights are low…you glow!!!

So NO wearing it to the movies! The laser hair brush from Nutreve also glows red in a pulsing format which is now being found to create a better response in hair growth than steady light alone. This brush doesn’t need to pretend it is anything else! It is simply the most affordable thinning hair treatment for both men and women on the market, with the latest technology and the most bang for your buck!!!
