About a week ago I was speaking with a young man in his first year in college at the barber shop next to our office. He must have been about 18 or 19 years old and already experiencing thinning hair. Alex, the barber, mentioned our hair loss product line to Steve and asked me to join the conversation. Steve was concerned that he was on the road to significant hair loss since his father and uncle were very thin at the ages of 45 and 47.

I told Steve that young people should look at the parent they resemble most to get an idea of what may happen to them physically as they age. Genetically in general, you will take after the parent you most resemble. Although family history is not the only reason for hair loss, it is the most common reason. Steve asked how soon he will need to do something to keep more hair than his dad. I explained that the time to start addressing hair loss is now. Since 95% of hair loss is hereditary and his father and uncle have significant hair loss, there is no reason to believe that Steve will not follow suit. By starting today with a hair loss remedy rather than waiting until his hair loss is more significant, there is a good chance that Steve’s hair loss can be stopped before there is a problem. I explained that a lot of people don’t think they need to worry about the problem until they begin to look thin. They don’t understand that eventually follicles that stop producing hair die and are lost forever. By not letting the follicle die the balding process is stopped or dramatically reduced.

We are very interested in getting our message out and infomercials discussing male and female hair loss solutions seem like an ideal venue. It is an expensive but the companies that have approached us are willing to invest with Nutreve in the production and marketing costs associated with with this type of project. We are hopeful that we can have our first efforts in testing by the first or second quarter of 2009.

In addition to the interest in distribution via infomercials, we have received several calls from interested consumers regarding our System. It seems there is a significant interest in the value of our Nutreve 1700 Laser Hair Loss Treatment Device since it is the most powerful hand held device (17 laser diodes) twice that of any other product available today and a price much less expensive than other devices with significantly less laser output. When combined with the other components of our system, folks seem to be pleased with the concept of the integrated system attacking hair loss from all fronts. We are excited about our beginnings!

Nutreve Hand Held Laser Device Introduced to Physicians

It appears our hand held laser device had somewhat of a “soft” introduction to some of the doctors at the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) annual scientific meeting in Montreal earlier this month. Hair loss prevention is a hot topic with patients when they discuss their concerns with a hair loss expert. Therefore, the vast majority of ISHRS members appear to be committed to learning more about emerging hair loss solutions and nothing seems to be more popular right now than Low Level Laser Therapy. Although I’m not 100% sure at the moment, I believe the device was introduced to a small group of physicians in one of the breakout meeting sessions. I still need to make a few more calls and should be able to find out more soon and will be sure to share the details with you.
