I’m amazed at the footprint we’re already making in the marketplace. We haven’t even officially launched our redesigned website and new product line and yesterday we learned that a high-end salon owner in is Miami interested in how our hair loss product system works. Evidently, the salon’s primary clientele are women and the owner is impressed with the our newly developed, Nutreve Hair Therapy System. He will be talking about his salon and our products on the local NBC affiliate Today Show in Miami on Wednesday, September 24, sometime between 11am and 12pm on channel 6. Naturally, we’re excited about this, but more importantly the valuable information that will be shared with women who may be seeking a solution to their female hair loss concerns.

As Nutreve launches the new website and complete hair loss product line for men and women, I find myself writing the first blog of my life. A little scary! Nutreve International was formed by my partner Tim and me as part of our ongoing involvement in premature hair loss for the past several years.
A Little Bit About Our History
We have been involved in the Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) for the treatment of hair loss since 2003 when I managed one of three Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Clinical Test Sites for LLLT hair loss treatment research. This was the first US FDA clinical study for the treatment of hair loss. It was at that time that I became committed to LLLT and opened two clinical facilities with Tim to offer LLLT treatments for both men and women. After two plus years of successfully providing services to men & women from ages 21 to 72 years old, I was convinced that LLLT for hair loss was a very satisfactory treatment.
What Did We Decide to Do?
In almost every case, hair loss was reduced dramatically. On numerous occasions, both men and women had noticeable hair re-growth. In every case, the look and feel of client’s hair improved substantially. As with all good things, we encountered two major problems:
1) the cost of the one-year treatment program was between $2,500 and $4,000 in Southern California
2) the treatment program required a minimum of 45 – 50 visits to our clinics. The cost is prohibitive for many people and anyone living or working more than 10 – 20 miles from the clinic experiences major transportation issues getting to the clinic regularly. It’s tough for those who work or live any distance away.
Since we are committed to helping those with hair loss we began to look for other methods to provide a satisfactory solution that is both affordable and does not require numerous visits to a clinic. As we all know, there are many products on the market claiming to be the magic formula to solve hair loss problem. I can tell you from experience, there is no magic solution!
What Did We Decide to Do?
We decided that we needed to delivery a home-use product for hair loss and that soon grew to a complete treatment system. There are several companies that provide LLLT devices and other companies that provide nutritional supplements and more yet that provide topical treatments. There are even a few that provide two pieces of the puzzle. However, there are no companies (other than Nutreve) that provide a complete treatment system that incorporates LLLT, nutritional supplements, topical solutions and more, at a reasonable price. We researched all of the products on the market and we hired professionals to help us develop proprietary products with three things in mind:
1) provide a hair loss treatment program that is complete
2) affordably priced
3) designed to work synergistically to produce the best opportunity for success. (In future posts I will talk in some detail about our individual products and how they help solve hair loss problems.)
For now, I think it’s important to note that our products are made from the finest ingredients available today. We could substitute other ingredients that cost less but our philosophy is to provide the very best products at very competitive prices. We want our hair loss system to be affordable by anyone who wants to take proactive steps to solve their hair loss problems.
Our Nutreve 1700 Laser Hair Therapy Device does not have any fancy timers, displays or other complicated and expensive components. It has an on-off switch and, most importantly, it has 17 diode lasers, which provide more laser energy to the scalp than any hand held device available today. Our device delivers a full 85mW of power to the scalp compared to 55mW from our nearest competitor. Most devices on the market today have between 5 and 11 diode lasers (22.5mW – 55mw) and in most cases, those devices cost significantly more than our product. In our opinion, it’s all about the power not the frills! Our device operates on 2 AA batteries (either regular or rechargeable) for up to 6 hours of continuous operation. No cords or recharging units are required. The device is very portable so it goes with you when you travel on business or pleasure.
